Spiced Honey-dijon Ham Glaze

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter.

Whisk in 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves, and 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon.

Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently to ensure the sugar has completely dissolved, about 3-4 minutes.

Reduce heat to low and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes until the glaze has thickened slightly and coats the back of a spoon.

Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme leaves. Let the glaze cool slightly before using.

To apply: Brush half of the glaze over the ham during the last 30 minutes of baking. Brush the remaining glaze on the ham every 10 minutes until finished.
