This quick and easy garlic butter shrimp scampi recipe is perfect when you're craving something smushy, garlicky, and buttery! Serve over pasta, rice, or crusty bread for a complete meal.
Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
Add 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
Stir in 1/4 cup of dry white wine or chicken broth and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.
