A quick and flavorful pasta dish perfect after a day of wine tasting. Simple ingredients come together to create a satisfying meal.
Cook 1 pound of spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
While the pasta is cooking, melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss to coat.
Pour in 1/4 cup of the reserved pasta water and 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Toss continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy, about 2 minutes. Add more pasta water if needed to adjust consistency.
Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley.
