Simple Roasted Green Beans

Wash and trim the ends off 1 lb of fresh green beans.

Place the trimmed green beans directly onto a rimmed baking sheet.

Drizzle 1 tbsp of olive oil over the beans, then sprinkle with 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.

Toss the green beans with your hands until they are evenly coated in oil and seasonings, then spread them out in a single layer.

Roast in the 400°F (200°C) oven (alongside the potatoes for their last 15 minutes) for 12 to 15 minutes until tender-crisp and slightly blistered.

Serve immediately alongside the chicken and potatoes.
