A refreshing and vibrant Iced Matcha Latte, perfect for a morning boost or an afternoon treat.
Sift "2" teaspoons of matcha powder into a small bowl to remove any clumps.
Add "2" tablespoons of hot water (about 175°F) to the matcha powder and whisk vigorously until a smooth, dark green paste forms. This is your matcha concentrate.
In a glass, add ice cubes to fill. Pour in "1" cup of your choice of milk (dairy or non-dairy).
Sweeten the milk with "1-2" teaspoons of simple syrup or your preferred sweetener, if desired. Stir well.
Gently pour the prepared matcha concentrate over the milk and ice. Let it settle for a moment, then stir well to combine.
Taste and adjust sweetness as needed. Add more matcha for a stronger flavor, or more milk for a creamier texture.
