A delightful and creamy matcha latte using oat milk, known for its natural sweetness and smooth texture, perfectly complementing the earthy notes of matcha.
Heat 1 cup of oat milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Do not boil.
Whisk 2 teaspoons of matcha powder with 2 tablespoons of hot water until smooth and there are no clumps.
Pour the matcha mixture into your favorite mug.
Gently pour the heated oat milk into the mug with the matcha, stirring to combine. Leave room for froth.
If desired, sweeten with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup or agave nectar to taste.
For a frothy latte, use a milk frother to froth the remaining oat milk and spoon over the top.
