A spicy Cajun fish dish, perfect for a flavorful dinner.
In a bowl, combine 1 tbsp of cayenne pepper, 2 tsp of smoked paprika, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of onion powder, 1 tsp of dried oregano, 1 tsp of dried thyme, and 1/2 tsp of salt. Mix well.
Coat 4 six-ounce redfish fillets with 2 tbsp of olive oil.
Generously rub the spice mixture onto both sides of each redfish fillet.
Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Carefully place the fish fillets in the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley or a lemon wedge if desired.
