A delightful and easy-to-make snack or appetizer featuring savory cocktail sausages wrapped in flaky, golden-brown crescent roll dough.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Unroll 2 cans (8 oz each) of refrigerated Pillsbury™ Original Crescent Rolls. Separate each can into 8 triangles, then cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 narrow triangles.
Place 48 cocktail-size smoked link sausages on the shortest side of each triangle. Roll up each triangle, starting from the shortest side and rolling to the opposite point. Ensure the point side is down.
Place the rolled-up pigs in a blanket on 2 ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown. To ensure even baking, switch the position of the cookie sheets halfway through the baking time.
Immediately remove the baked pigs in a blanket from the cookie sheet to prevent sticking. Serve them warm for the best taste.
