This simple Lemon Garlic Pasta comes together in minutes with just a few ingredients. It's a quick, flavorful, and satisfying meal perfect for busy weeknights.
Cook 1 pound of spaghetti according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
While the pasta is cooking, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Stir in the zest and juice of 1 lemon, 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (optional), and salt and pepper to taste.
Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Add the reserved pasta water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
Serve immediately, garnished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
