Creamy, cheesy mac and cheese cooked in a mug in the microwave, with a dash of chili flakes for a little heat. Perfect for those super-busy days when you crave comfort food fast.
In a large mug, combine 1/2 cup elbow macaroni, 1/2 cup water, and a pinch of salt. Stir well.
Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked through and the water is mostly absorbed. Stir halfway through.
Add 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 2 tablespoons milk, 1 tablespoon butter, and a pinch of chili flakes to the mug. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
